The President of Cordoba University, Professor Dr. Wissam Salah Abdul Hussein, attended the scientific seminar held by Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies in Najaf, entitled “Master’s in Accounting,” at the kind invitation of the Institute’s Dean. The seminar was also attended by the Dean of the College of Political Science, several faculty members, and students.
During the seminar, the University President delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of the accounting specialization and its vital role in supporting institutions and enhancing decision-making processes. He pointed to the necessity of keeping pace with scientific and academic developments to contribute to preparing specialized personnel capable of serving society and the labor market.
The seminar featured fruitful scientific discussions that addressed the prospects for graduate studies in accounting and their importance in developing institutional and economic performance.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Professor Dr. Talal Mohammed, Head of the Accounting Department, presented a certificate of attendance to the President of Cordoba University, expressing his appreciation for the invitation and emphasizing the importance of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation and opening avenues for partnership between educational institutions to serve the advancement of knowledge.
