Cordoba University has begun the initial steps in constructing new buildings as part of its plans to develop its infrastructure and expand its educational and service facilities. This phase involves soil testing and sampling at the project site.

The testing was conducted under the supervision of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Professor Dr. Firas Kasoub Rashid, who emphasized that this stage is a crucial precursor to construction, as it is essential for ensuring the safety of future structures according to approved engineering standards.

The soil testing process was attended by Mr. Munaf Al-Saabri and Mr. Ali Abdul-Amir Alwan, who were briefed on the work mechanism and technical procedures followed in taking and analyzing laboratory samples. This will contribute to establishing the correct foundations for the construction process.

This step is part of Cordoba University’s efforts to develop its campus environment and enhance the level of services provided to students and faculty, in line with its strategic plans for urban expansion and supporting the educational process.
