The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Cordoba University held a scientific lecture entitled “The Annual Training Program for Football Players” on the university campus. This lecture was part of the college’s efforts to enhance the scientific aspect and develop the academic and practical knowledge of students and faculty.

The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Faisal Dhaif and Assistant Professor Dr. Zaid Hani Yass from Al-Qasim Green University. They reviewed the modern scientific principles in preparing annual training programs for football players and their importance in raising the players’ physical and technical levels.

Several Cordoba University faculty members, including Professor Mustafa Salam and Professor Ali Rasoul Jabbar, also participated in the lecture, adding a distinctive scientific and interactive dimension.

The lecture was attended by the President of Cordoba University, Professor Dr. Wissam Salah Abdul Hussein, along with a number of professors and students. He praised the importance of holding such scientific events, which contribute to developing the educational process and raising the academic and athletic standards.

At the conclusion of the lecture, the University President presented a letter of thanks and appreciation to Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Faisal Dhaif and Assistant Professor Dr. Zaid Hani Yass.
