The Women’s Affairs Division organizes an awareness seminar on harassment and cyber extortion.

The University’s Women’s Affairs Division organized an awareness seminar entitled “Electronic Harassment and Blackmail,” attended by the University President, deans of faculties, faculty members, and students.

The seminar was presented by Ms. Zainab Majhoula Al-Waeli, Head of the Women’s Division in the Community Police, in cooperation with the National Security Service, with the participation of Colonel Musab Alwan Al-Abidi and Lieutenant Colonel Hussein Saleh Al-Saabri. The seminar addressed the dangers of electronic harassment and blackmail, methods of prevention, and legal procedures for dealing with such cases.

The seminar witnessed significant interaction from the attendees through their comments and questions, which contributed to raising community awareness about the importance of the safe use of electronic communication.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the University President presented letters of thanks and appreciation to the representatives of the National Security Service and the Community Police in recognition of their efforts and constructive cooperation. He emphasized the University’s commitment to strengthening communication with relevant authorities and continuing to hold awareness seminars that contribute to protecting the university community and disseminating legal and security awareness.
