University of Cordoba wins top prizes in short story competition

Cordoba University participated in the short story competition organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and hosted by Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. Fifty-four Iraqi universities participated in the competition, which was overseen by Professor Zaid Mohammed, Head of the Student Activities Department.

Cordoba University achieved a remarkable accomplishment by winning top prizes in the competition, reflecting the creative level and outstanding abilities of its students in literary and cultural fields.

During the competition, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University presented Cordoba University with a letter of thanks and appreciation in recognition of its distinguished participation. Professor Dr. Wissam Salah Abdul Hussein, President of the University, also expressed his gratitude to Professor Zaid Mohammed and the participating students for their efforts and perseverance in raising the university’s profile.

This participation underscores Cordoba University’s commitment to supporting student activities and encouraging young talents to participate in national events, thereby contributing to the development of their skills and enhancing their creative abilities.
