Cordoba University organizes a scientific symposium on the role of early screening in preventing breast cancer.

The Women’s Affairs Division at Cordoba University organized a scientific and educational seminar entitled “The Role of Early Screening in Breast Cancer Prevention,” in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling Division and under the patronage of Professor Wissam Salah Abdul-Hussein, President of the University.

The seminar was delivered by Ms. Faten Hamoud, Head of the Early Screening Unit, and was attended by specialists from the Early Screening Unit, Ms. Afaf Sharad and Lina Hussein, from the University of Kufa.

The seminar was attended by administrative staff and a number of female students. The lecture addressed the importance of early screening, the symptoms that may appear in an infected person, and treatment and prevention methods to eliminate the disease early. It also included a discussion session to exchange experiences and information on the topic.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the Women’s Affairs Division extended its thanks and appreciation to Ms. Faten Hamoud for accepting the invitation and attending, as well as to the specialists for their active participation in presenting this valuable scientific lecture.
