The Women’s Affairs Division at the University of Cordoba organizes a lecture on bad habits in children and the role of mothers in prevention and treatment.

Under the patronage of Professor Wissam Salah Abdul Hussein, President of the University of Cordoba, the University’s Division of Women’s Affairs organized a lecture titled “Bad Habits in Children: Their Impact on Growth and the Role of the Mother in Treatment and Prevention.” The lecture was delivered by the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Mu’ayyad Fadhel Zwain, in the Continuing Education Hall at the University of Cordoba.

The lecture addressed the most common behavioral habits practiced by children and their negative effects on physical and psychological development. It also addressed prevention and treatment methods, as well as the pivotal role of the mother in monitoring and guiding children toward proper behavior.

The lecture was attended by Professor Firas Kasoub Rashid, Assistant President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and a number of faculty and administrative staff members and students. The lecture witnessed fruitful interaction from the audience, with an extensive discussion surrounding common habits and ways to address them, emphasizing the importance of family awareness and continuous monitoring of children to ensure a healthy and sound upbringing.

At the conclusion of the lecture, the Women’s Affairs Division affirmed its commitment to continuing to hold such awareness-raising activities aimed at serving the family and society.
