Under the patronage of Professor Wissam Salah Abdul Hussein, President of Cordoba University, the university held a scientific symposium titled “Drugs and Their Treatment Methods.” The symposium was delivered by Dr. Ahmed Wahab, a lecturer in the College of Dentistry.
The symposium addressed the concept of drugs, their types, and the negative effects they have on individual and societal health. It also highlighted methods for treating and preventing this dangerous phenomenon, which particularly threatens young people.
The symposium was attended by the university president, the dean of the College of Dentistry, faculty, staff, and students. The symposium witnessed remarkable interaction from the attendees, with questions and interventions enriching the discussion and contributing to clarifying ways to combat drugs and raising community awareness of their dangers.
