The University of Cordoba holds a symposium on women’s participation in parliament locally, regionally, and internationally.

Under the patronage of Professor Wissam Salah Abdul-Hussein, President of the University of Cordoba, the university held a scientific symposium entitled “Women’s Participation in Parliament Locally, Arab World, and Internationally,” presented by lecturer Hadeel Al-Jawad.

The symposium aimed to highlight the importance of effective political empowerment for women and enhance their leadership role in decision-making. It also reviewed the most prominent challenges facing women in their political careers and ways to overcome them.

The symposium was attended by a number of professors, lecturers, and students, who enriched the discussion with their contributions and opinions, emphasizing the need to support women’s participation in political life to contribute to achieving comprehensive societal development.
