The Assistant President of the University, Professor Firas Kasoub Rashid, welcomed the Civil Defense team, which conducted a field exercise to extinguish a fire on campus. The exercise aimed to raise the level of preparedness and enhance security and safety measures.

The exercise included evacuating students and staff from halls and laboratories, operating fire extinguishers and emergency exits, and training staff on proper emergency procedures.

The Assistant President emphasized that this exercise comes within the framework of cooperation with the Civil Defense Directorate to instill a culture of safety and risk prevention, and to ensure a safe educational environment for students and faculty.
