As part of strengthening academic collaboration and exchanging scientific expertise, the University of Córdoba signed a twinning agreement with the University of Kufa, in the presence of official representatives from both sides and in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Representing the University of Córdoba at the signing ceremony were Professor Dr. Wissam Salah Abdul-Hussein, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Firas Kasoub Rashid, Administrative and Financial Affairs Assistant. The University of Kufa was represented by Professor Dr. Alaa Naji Al-Mulla, President of the University, and Dr. Abbas Talib, Assistant for Academic Affairs.
The agreement aims to open new horizons for cooperation between the two universities in areas such as scientific research, faculty and student exchange, and the establishment of joint academic projects that contribute to advancing the educational process in the country.
Both parties emphasized during the signing the importance of such agreements in enhancing the quality of higher education and the necessity of joint efforts to develop academic programs that meet modern requirements and the needs of the labor market.
