Under the Patronage of the President of the University of Cordoba… A Distinguished Lecture Entitled “Women and Elections – Towards Effective Political Participation”

Under the generous patronage of Dr. Wissam Salah Abdul-Hussein, President of the University of Cordoba, the University organized a distinguished lecture titled “Women and Elections – Towards Effective Political Participation”, in collaboration with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and the University of Kufa.

The lecture witnessed notable academic attendance and broad participation from university professors and students. It addressed the importance of enhancing women’s role in the electoral process and the necessity of activating their political participation as an essential component in building a democratic society.

The event aimed to shed light on the challenges women face in the political landscape and to discuss ways to empower them in decision-making positions, in line with the principles of justice, citizenship, and equality.
