As part of the University of Cordoba’s ongoing efforts to support scientific research and enhance its academic presence in global databases, Dr. Muslim Mohammed Al-Eidani, a faculty member in the College of Medical and Health Technologies at the University of Cordoba, published a scientific paper in a reputable journal indexed in Scopus.
The paper, titled:
“Evaluation of Inflammatory Biomarkers Gal-1 and IL-1β and Liver Enzyme Activity in Gastric Cancer Patients Before and After Chemotherapy: A Case-Control Study,” explored changes in certain inflammatory biomarkers and liver enzyme activity in gastric cancer patients, comparing results before and after chemotherapy. The aim was to highlight the importance of these biomarkers in clinical evaluation and monitoring treatment response.
