University of Cordoba signs twinning and joint cooperation agreement with University of Karbala

The President of Cordoba University, Professor Dr. Wissam Salah Abdul Hussein, signed a twinning and cooperation agreement with the University of Karbala, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid, to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between the two universities.

The agreement aims to open broad horizons for joint cooperation in various fields, including organizing scientific activities, conferences, seminars, and workshops, preparing joint scientific research, exchanging academic expertise, and developing educational programs to contribute to raising the scientific and research level of both parties.

During the signing ceremony, Professor Dr. Wissam Salah Abdul Hussein emphasized the importance of this agreement in strengthening scientific partnerships among Iraqi universities. He noted Cordoba University’s commitment to building effective academic relationships that support scientific research, develop academic performance, and provide broader opportunities to serve students and researchers, thus contributing to raising the quality of higher education in the country.

The university president also expressed his pleasure with this step, looking forward to activating the agreement’s provisions through joint projects and activities that contribute to strengthening scientific cooperation and the exchange of expertise between the two universities.
