Cordoba University, in cooperation with the National Security Agency, is holding an awareness seminar on strategies to combat the scourge of drugs.

Under the patronage of the esteemed President of Cordoba University, Professor Dr. Wissam Salah Abdul Hussein, the Department of Psychological Counseling at the university, in cooperation with the National Security Service, held an awareness and educational seminar entitled “Drugs: From Awareness to Action: Strategies for Combating Them.” This seminar aimed to enhance community awareness and reduce the risks of this phenomenon among all segments of society, especially youth.

The seminar featured presentations by:

• Professor Dr. Asaad Kadhim

• Lieutenant Colonel Haider Hussein Al-Jamagh

• Ms. Safaa Kadhim Al-Khaqani, Director of the Department of Psychological Counseling at the university

The seminar was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Professor Dr. Firas Kasoub Rashid, along with a number of faculty and administrative staff, and a large group of students.

During the seminar, the speakers emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between security agencies and educational institutions to raise community awareness.

In conclusion, the university administration presented letters of thanks and appreciation to the speakers in recognition of their efforts and their active role in spreading awareness and establishing a culture of prevention within the university community.
