Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Wissam Salah Abdul-Hussein, the University of Córdoba organized a scientific seminar entitled “The Role of Iraqi Women in Parliamentary Elections”, presented by Dr. Dakhil Abdul-Hamza Hnin, a faculty member at the university, with the presence of a distinguished group of administrative and academic staff.
The seminar addressed several key topics related to the political participation of Iraqi women, the challenges they face in the electoral process, as well as their role in promoting democracy and contributing to decision-making within the parliament. The event witnessed active engagement from attendees, with numerous questions and contributions enriching the discussion and deepening the understanding of the topic.
This seminar comes as part of the university’s ongoing series of scientific and cultural activities aimed at raising community awareness and highlighting national issues of importance, particularly those related to the role of women and their empowerment in various fields.
