About the college
The Faculty of political science is one of the faculties of the Private University of Cordoba, established in [ 2024/2025] and aims to prepare scientific cadres in the academic field, the Faculty of political science is one of the leading faculties in preparing specialized competencies in understanding and analyzing political issues, international relations, diplomatic work and drawing up an internal public policy for the Iraqi political system. The College seeks to develop students ‘ abilities in critical and analytical thinking, and provide them with the necessary knowledge to understand political phenomena locally and internationally. It is considered one of the basic faculties in building a politically conscious society.
Vision:
The college should be a prestigious academic institution locally and regionally in the field of political science and international relations, contributing to the preparation of opinion leaders and decision makers with competence, knowledge and national responsibility.
Objectives:
- Graduation of qualified cadres to work in the fields of politics, diplomacy, international relations, management and media.
- Promoting scientific research in all fields of politics and international systems.
- Building academic and cognitive political awareness among students.
- Establishing academic partnerships with universities and research institutions inside and outside the country.
- Developing and promoting a culture of dialogue and respect for other opinions.
