University Council
The University Council is the supreme authority in the management of the affairs of the Private University of Cordoba, where it is responsible for the general supervision of academic, administrative and financial policies, and works to draw strategic directions that ensure the achievement of the vision and mission of the University.
Composition of the council:
The university council consists of an elite group of academics, administrators and people with experience in the fields of Higher Education, representing various faculties and administrative units at the University, in addition to representatives from the community or industrial sector when needed.
Tasks and powers:
- Approving the strategic and operational plans of the University.
- Approving academic, research and development policies.
- Review and approve new study programs and update existing ones.
- Supervision of budgets and financial plans.
- Appointment of deans of faculties and heads of departments in accordance with the approved regulations.
- Approval of the University’s administrative, financial and academic regulations.
- Evaluate institutional performance and ensure the quality of educational outputs.
