The University of Cordoba organized a specialized lecture entitled “Mental Pollution: The Silent Danger on Campus.” The Continuing Education Department at the University of Cordoba, in cooperation with the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, held the lecture, which was attended by university officials, faculty members, and students.
The lecture was delivered by Professor Dr. Hassanein Abdul Wahid Ash’ila from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qasim Green University, and Professor Ali Rasoul Jabbar from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Cordoba. They discussed the concept of mental pollution, its causes, and its negative effects on individuals and the university community, as well as ways to mitigate the intellectual and behavioral phenomena that affect the educational environment.
The lecture saw active participation from the audience, who posed several questions and offered comments focusing on the importance of intellectual and cultural awareness and the role of educational institutions in building a conscious generation capable of confronting contemporary intellectual challenges. At the conclusion of the lecture, the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences presented a letter of thanks and appreciation to Professor Dr. Hassanein Abdul Wahid Ash'ila in recognition of his scholarly efforts and valuable contribution to the success of this scientific event.
