The story so far.
Dr. Basma Amal Mahmoud Sayed Ismail is a lecturer and academic researcher specializing in inorganic and analytical chemistry. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the Faculty of Science at Al-Azhar University in Egypt with very good honors, followed by a Diploma in Physiology and Biochemistry from the Faculty of Science at Suez Canal University with excellent honors.
She continued her academic career by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry in 2019, and a PhD in the same field in 2025 from the Faculty of Science at Al-Azhar University.
She has experience in scientific research at Al-Azhar University and teaching experience at Future University. Since December 16, 2025, she has been a lecturer at Cordoba University, within the Department of Forensic Science at the Faculty of Science, and also teaches at the Faculty of Pharmacy. She also serves as the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the Faculty of Science, contributing to the academic, administrative, and research work at the university.
Her research interests focus on analytical chemistry, particularly potentiometry and voltammetry.
