Faculty of Pharmacy at Qurtuba University Signs Twinning and Joint Cooperation Agreement with Faculty of Pharmacy at University of Kufa

Faculty of Pharmacy at Qurtuba University signed a scientific and academic twinning and cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Kufa on Monday, October 26, 2026, aiming to develop curricula, enhance academic and research collaboration, and exchange expertise between both faculties.
The agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Qurtuba University, Prof. Dr. Ziyad Kazim Olewi, and the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Kufa, Prof. Dr. Fadhil Abdul-Jabbar Rizaj, in the presence of several members of both faculty councils and teaching staff from both sides.
The agreement includes developing curricula and study plans, organizing joint scientific workshops and lectures, and cooperating in summer training, graduation projects, and joint examinations, in addition to conducting specialized research, organizing scientific conferences, exchanging expertise, and utilizing specialized laboratories.
This agreement comes as part of Qurtuba University's efforts to enhance cooperation with public universities, develop pharmaceutical education, and elevate the scientific and research standards.
