The Council of the College of Pharmacy at Cordoba University Holds its Second Session for the Academic Year 2026-2027

The Council of the College of Pharmacy at Cordoba University held its second session for the academic year 2026-2027 on Monday, October 12, 2026, chaired by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ziyad Kadhim Aliwi, and attended by council members to discuss various academic, scientific, and administrative matters. The session addressed ways to develop academic performance, enhance the educational process, review scientific title promotion requests, and prepare for a festival honoring top-ranking students. It also emphasized activating research activities, organizing scientific workshops and seminars, and enhancing practical applications in laboratories. Furthermore, the council discussed the community service plan, which includes preparations for an awareness campaign on the occasion of World Breast Cancer Day, launching an educational series titled "An Awareness Dose from Cordoba Pharmacy," alongside strengthening cooperation with government institutions, monitoring program accreditation requirements, and discussing the establishment of a case study research unit. The session concluded with several recommendations and decisions aimed at improving institutional performance, supporting the scientific and educational journey, and aligning with the directives of the presidency of Cordoba University toward enhancing the quality of higher education
