The College of Science Council at Cordoba University held its second session for the 2026–2027 academic year, chaired by the Dean of the College, Dr. Muslim Mohammed Musa, and attended by the Assistant Deans and Heads of the academic departments. The session focused on a number of academic and administrative matters related to the progress of work within the College.
The Dean opened the session with welcoming remarks, emphasizing the importance of maintaining coordination among the academic departments and following up on their preparations for the new academic year. The Council also discussed the readiness of classrooms and scientific laboratories, as well as their equipment requirements, in order to provide an appropriate academic environment for students and contribute to improving the quality of the educational process.
Dr. Muslim Mohammed Musa also emphasized the importance of enhancing faculty participation in scientific research and academic activities, encouraging initiatives that contribute to the development of scientific and educational performance, and strengthening cooperation among the College’s departments.
The session also addressed several matters related to the organization of academic work and the needs of the departments, with an emphasis on integrating efforts to ensure the regularity of studies, in line with Cordoba University’s approach to developing its educational environment and supporting students and faculty members.
