As part of Cordoba University’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with private-sector institutions, aligning university education outcomes with labor market needs, and developing students’ academic and professional skills, the University received a delegation from Employment Gate Company. The visit was coordinated by the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance.
The delegation was received by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khalid Shayaa Khairallah, and the Head of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, Mr. Safaa Kadhim Al-Khaqani. During the meeting, the two sides discussed several areas of potential cooperation, particularly in training and professional development, employment, entrepreneurship, and the development of students’ skills in line with labor market requirements.
The Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs emphasized Cordoba University’s commitment to opening new avenues of cooperation with Employment Gate Company and providing students with opportunities to benefit from training and professional programs that contribute to developing their capabilities and enhancing their readiness to enter the labor market.
He also highlighted the importance of supporting students, encouraging innovation and creativity, and enabling them to benefit from opportunities available in the private sector, thereby contributing to the development of promising career paths and future employment opportunities that match their specializations and skills.
This cooperation comes within Cordoba University’s efforts to strengthen partnerships with labor market institutions, empower its students, and provide an educational and professional environment that helps transform academic knowledge into practical skills and tangible opportunities aligned with future demands.
