Cordoba University Council Discusses Preparations for Second-Round Examinations and the New Academic Year Plan

The Cordoba University Council held its regular session, chaired by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Wissam Salah Abdulhussein, and attended by the Council members to discuss a number of important academic, administrative, and scientific matters.

The Council reviewed the latest ministerial directives, regulations, and instructions, as well as the mechanisms for their implementation. It also discussed preparations for the second-round examinations, including the announcement of examination schedules and the readiness of examination halls, while emphasizing the provision of all necessary logistical and organizational requirements to ensure the smooth and efficient conduct of the examinations.

The Council also addressed matters related to academic promotions and academic titles, in addition to preparations for the new academic year. Emphasis was placed on completing all necessary academic and administrative requirements to ensure an organized and effective start to the academic year.

Regarding scientific and research activities, the Council stressed the importance of strengthening the University’s research environment and encouraging faculty members to conduct and publish scientific research and participate in academic conferences and scholarly events. It also highlighted the importance of organizing specialized seminars and lectures that contribute to advancing the University’s scientific and intellectual environment.

Furthermore, the Council discussed plans to establish and publish specialized scientific journals, particularly in the fields of technology and emerging disciplines. This initiative aims to strengthen Cordoba University’s scientific and research presence and further support its ongoing academic development.
