Cordoba University Organizes Workshop to Establish Specialized Laser Center in Collaboration with the Iraqi Laser Scientists Association The College of Health and Medical Technologies at Cordoba University, in collaboration with the Iraqi Laser Scientists Association/Advisory Board, held a comprehensive workshop to discuss the establishment of a specialized laser center for treatment and training purposes. The workshop was attended by the university president and a number of advisors and specialized academics. Dr. Hassan Fathallah Rustam, Dean of the College of Technologies, presented at the workshop, addressing the importance of establishing the center and its role in developing the practical and applied skills of students and physicians, as well as enhancing therapeutic and cosmetic services using the latest modern laser technologies. The workshop included a proposal to establish a joint specialized center, managed by the university and the association, to serve as a training center for students in the Department of Cosmetic and Laser Medicine at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, in addition to students from the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and Jaber Ibn Hayyan Medical University. The center also aims to conduct specialized training courses for doctors and medical professionals on the use of modern laser devices, as well as provide therapeutic and cosmetic services to citizens, contributing to improved appearance and the treatment of conditions requiring laser technology. The workshop was attended by members of the association's advisory board: Professor Mahmoud Mohamed Al-Dagher, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Nasik Islamic Bank and the association's advisor on financial and banking affairs; Professor Abbas Mzaal, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Economics at Cordoba University and the association's advisor on administrative affairs; and Dr. Abdullah Shakkara, the association's advisor on contracts and memoranda of understanding.
