In a new scientific achievement for the University of Cordoba, Dr. Muslim Mohammed, Head of the Department of Anesthesia Techniques, published a scientific paper in the Egyptian Journal of Medical Microbiology, Volume 35, Issue 1, 2026. This journal is a reputable scientific publication indexed in the Scopus database. The paper is titled: “The Role of Herbal Extracts in Modulating Inflammatory Cytokines and Cancer Biomarkers.” The research explored the effects of several natural herbal extracts, including curcumin, black seed, and EGCG, on regulating inflammatory markers and biomarkers associated with cancerous tumors.
